A long time ago I wanted an iPhone stand that could turn while holding a phone landscape, when I looked around there were none available in the UK. Like a lot of people when I saw Munnys turned into speakers and was inspired. So I tried to Find a character with a wide enough head to hold an iPhone 4 with easy access and a body large enough to make the stand stable while still able to turn 360°. I settled on teen titan Raven as she has a hood for a wider head and a dress and cape combination that could be shaped to add weight and make a more interesting design, I also incorporated hooks to hold the charging wires.

 

The first two images are of the first finished design that could hold an iPhone in the head and an iPod under the left arm. 

The following pictures show how I recently finished updating the stand after the Apple increased size of iPhone and I purchased an iPad mini. The changes I made were filling in the face, giving her a face, putting back the original left arm and changing the cape and dress to hold an iPad/iPhone in portrait and landscape. I also added a physical representation of the character’s powers to help hold any size of device.
